Bluebell (Hyacinthoides non-scripta)

Regular price £3.00

Bluebell (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) Britain’s favourite wildflower carries nodding spikes of scented, blue flowers; a wonderful addition to a shaded border or woodland. Seed is best sown outside in summer, either 1cm deep in soil where the plants are to flower or in large pots of soil-based compost. They need cold to germinate and can be erratic. Transplant into 8cm pots when large enough to handle; bulbs should be large enough to flower after about 4-5 years.
