Oxeye daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare)

Oxeye Daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare) A wonderful perennial for a wildflower meadow or border with familiar daisy-like flowers in early summer. Best sown in autumn where plants are to flower, scattering seed directly onto finely prepared soil and lightly raked in. Or, sow in pots of moist compost in spring and cover lightly with soil, transplanting seedlings when big enough to handle into 8cm pots and planting out in autumn. Easy in a sunny spot with well-drained soil.
