When: Saturday 13 July, 2-5pm (arrive at 1pm for 'bring and share' picnic)
Where: Birkdale Farm, Mowthorpe, Terrington, York, YO60 6QE
Join Elizabeth Cooke, Colour in the Margins Project Manager, and Frances and James Standen, farmers and co-ordinators of the Yorkshire Farm Flora facilitation group, on a 1.5 mile walk to discover numerous arable plants flourishing in the carefully managed field margins and the opportunity to spot corn buttercup, red hemp-nettle and fumitories, among others. Please note this walk will include some uneven terrain and there is no shelter or toilet facilities on this walk. 30 spaces available.
