Joan's Hill Farm Walk
About this product
When: Thursday 13 June, 2-4pm
Where: Joan's Hill Farm Nature Reserve, Near Woolhope, Hereford, Herefordshire
A leisurely walk of approximately 1.5 miles with Joe Costley, Plantlife's Reserves Manager, looking at the wild flowers of Herefordshire's Coronation Meadow. Nestled amongst woodland and within the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Beauty, we'll explore orchards and colourful hay fields that are enclosed by native hedgerows and enjoy complete freedom from traffic noise. There should be a spectacular display of common spotted orchids and, with luck, we'll see the tail end of the green-winged orchid spikes as well. Please note there is no shelter, places to sit and eat or toilet facilities at this reserve. 20 spaces available.
