Wild Carrot (Daucus carota)

Regular price £3.00

Wild Carrot (Daucus carota) An easy biennial with mounds of feathery foliage and, in the second year, lacy umbels of creamy flowers in summer. It produces a carrot-like taproot that dislikes disturbance and is best sown outside directly where it will flower. Sow in autumn to give the seeds the cold they need to germinate, and cover lightly with soil. Easy in any open, sunny spot in well-drained soil.
