Corncockle (Agrostemma githago) This large annual is very easily grown and produces beautiful soft pink flowers for weeks in summer. Sow seed in spring or autumn directly into the soil where plants are to flower, either in shallow drills covered lightly with soil or scattered over a seed bed and raked in. Loves an open sunny spot and well-drained soil.
