Cowslip (Primula veris)

Cowslip (Primula veris) A much-loved spring flower with wrinkled leaves and little bunches of deep yellow, cup-shaped flowers. Sow in late summer or autumn onto moist compost and cover very lightly with soil; place outside so the cold breaks dormancy for germination the next spring. Transplant into 8cm pots when big enough to handle and plant out in autumn. Great in sunny meadows or borders with well-drained soil.
